Description

The Podcast Love Weeklong Beginner's Intensive is focused on helping beginners in audio learn the elements of creating a beautiful narrative audio piece.

Participants would leave the weeklong training session with an original, four-minute narrative audio piece, the skills to continue making stuff on your own, an understanding of the radio business, and new connections in the radio community.

Days will be divided between lessons and workshops. Lessons include: story structure, securing and selecting compelling tape, how to use a recorder, interviewing technique, outlining, writing for the ear, story editing and workshopping, technical instruction in Hindenburg (audio editing software), narrating, music and sound design, and mastering/finishing mixes.

The workshop will be located at the tranquil and lovely Shambhala Yoga & Dance Center in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, NY.
